After reporting profits of £1.6billion, 53-year-old chief executive Dave Lewis appears to have finally got the troubled retailer firmly back on track.

 The oleaginous former energy minister, 52, who served under David Cameron, remains chairman of oligarch Oleg Deripaska’s London-listed firm EN+ despite it being targeted by US sanctions. 

Charges levelled at Deripaska by the US includes bribing a government official and having links to organised crime.
